I am a geography student from the University of Glasgow conducting a study for an Honours Geography Dissertation. The dissertation will study the environmental ethics and attitudes of green space users in Glasgow as well as measuring their ecological concern.

The main aims of the project are:

• To discover the variety of underlying ethics and attitudes of green space users.
• To measure the level of ecological concern of green space users
• To look for links between increased ecological awareness and increased use of green space

I would be grateful if you would be willing to take part in my dissertation research project. This will only involve you answering some questions on your views with regards to the environment as well as a few basic questions such as age group and sex to gain an understanding of the demographics of green space users. This is in the form of the following questionnaire.

No one will be identified by name and any contributions will be anonymous unless requested otherwise. The materials collected will be used in the writing up of this student project.

The Dissertation will be completed by the 16th of December 2013 and submitted to the department of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow. It will be assessed by my supervisor and possibly read by other staff members within the department.
