LiveFeed Sentiment Analysis lets you run AI-powered analysis on your audience's open-text responses during or after a live session. Instead of reading through every comment manually, you get an instant breakdown of overall sentiment, recurring themes, representative quotes, urgent concerns, and an executive summary — all without leaving the presenter view.
The analysis modal shows five sections:
Overall sentiment — the dominant emotional tone of your audience: positive, neutral, or negative, displayed with color coding at the top of the modal. Themes — recurring topics across your responses, each with the percentage of responses it represents and verbatim representative quotes pulled directly from your audience's submissions. Urgent concerns — responses the AI has identified as time-sensitive issues, surfaced and labeled separately so they are not lost in the general theme breakdown. Feature requests — explicit improvement suggestions from your audience, pre-categorized and ready to share with your product or operations team. Executive summary — a concise plain-language narrative you can paste directly into a follow-up email or Slack message without editing.Analysis runs over the 500 most recent non-empty responses. For sessions with a larger audience, the most recent responses are prioritized. You can click Reanalyze at any point to refresh the results as new responses arrive.
No. Sentiment analysis runs entirely in the presenter view. Participants see only the standard LiveFeed response interface and are not notified that analysis is taking place.
If the AI service is temporarily unavailable, a friendly error message appears in the modal. The session continues normally and you can retry the analysis once the service recovers. No response data is lost.
The Analyze responses button is available once at least one response has been submitted. If all submitted responses are blank, a message will prompt you to wait for meaningful audience input before retrying.
Sentiment analysis is available on LiveFeed (open-text) questions only. It is not available for multiple choice, word cloud, swipe, or rating questions.
