The goal of this study is to:
1. Determine what form of rural incubation in the Scottish Highlands is the most effective strategy for economic development and thus;
2. Define a âblue printâ for economic development through business incubation in the Highlands of Scotland.
Therefore, the key research question is: What is the most effective form of business incubator, and by implication business incubation, for ensuring the sustainable economic development of the Highlands of Scotland?
