My research question will evolve around how managed care programs in the US insurance industry affect competition among health care providers. Given the size and magnitude of such a topic, I have decided to narrow my research to managed care programs such as HMOâs and PPOâs and their effect on the dental industry in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan Area in Texas, USA.
