The Personal and the Political: Community and Voice in the Gendered Blogosphere

This research examines the online community of women bloggers. A key focus of the study is exploring why women utilize the internet as they do, why they created their own blogs, and how they use them in everyday life. Key research questions include: Why do women create and use weblogs? How do women bloggers view self-expression through weblogs? How do women bloggers view community through weblogs�do they find community through online blogging?
