What motivates volunteers to work and how can volunteer work been supported by the management?

Motivation is behind all human activities. We all do things because we are motivated to do so. The subject has been studied widely in both psychology and organisational studies. In order to see which are the motivators for people�s actions many theories and models have been created. This study will examine some of those theories in order to see how they can be implemented to volunteer work.
