We are trying to develop a device that will automatically brake cars if a collision is imminent, but in order to get funding we have to determine the kinds of accidents and severity of accidents that happen

A device that can, in real time, anticipate a collision and alert the driver or take evasive action on behalf of the driver. The detection process involves laserscanner technology to detect and track potential hazards. The laserscanner, tracking mulitple objects, will have to feed through an electronic parsing system, and then feed the processed data to instuctional device. The instructional devices, a 32-bit onboard controller, will control the brakes and steering column.
