Project Description
We are researching the underlying motivations behind network attacks via the Internet. Our hypothesis is that a sizeable portion of hackers act only out of curiosity, boredom, or one-upmanship. From this we hope to extrapolate information that will lead towards solutions aimed at helping these types of hackers (such as developing online competitions for network attacks, joining forces with corporate entities, etc.). This survey will be used to ascertain what prevailing perceptions exist within the minds of hackers.

Project Abstract
This is an individualized project for a network security class and no assignment abstract is available. See the information above.
