Project Description

The Faculty of Informatics and Communication at CQU is a major provider of education and training in information systems and technology. We have a specific interest in the needs of the health sector as it is increasingly dependent upon the effective application of complex technological solutions and systems. In order to ensure we remain relevant and current in the content and delivery of such education and training we propose to survey health professionals to ascertain their perceptions of needs and priorities. Furthermore, in more general terms, there is a need to be able to define Health Informatics Professionals by their graduate attributes in order to foster global health informatics education and the international exchange and comparability of Health Informatics students.
