Census balancing

The census balancing feature within audience projects enables you to field surveys in alignment with the demographic distribution of a specific region, based on official government census data. It ensures responses are collected proportionally and prevents over representation of any single demographic segment.

You can apply census balaning on age, gender, ethinity and region only.

1. Go to Audience and click on Create project button.
2. Select Specialized sample
3. Click on the criteria like age, gender, ethnicity or region. (For ethnicity and region you might have to add them first from add criteria-> demographic)
4. Switch on the balancing toggle button.
5. By default census balancing is selected.
6. Hit the save button.
