Nested quota

This feature enables users to apply quotas across multiple criteria (up to three dimensions: age, gender, ethnicity, or region), instead of being restricted to a single quota criterion.

It gives researchers and analysts finer control over respondent distribution, ensuring data collection more accurately reflects targeted sub-population structures.

• To ensure balanced representation across sub-groups within a broader segment.
• To prevent over- or under-sampling of smaller sub-segments.
• To maintain greater control over your sample structure.

Before applying a Nested quota, you must ensure the following:

• The required number of responses is at least 100.
• Audience balancing is applied at the qualification level. You can also define quotas using custom balancing.
• At least two qualifications have audience balancing applied.

Once all required specifications are entered and balancing has been applied to the selected qualifications, the Nested quota button will become active.

Now follow these steps:

1. Click the Nested quota button.

2. Select the qualifications on which you want to apply Nested quota.

3. Edit the nested segments by adjusting the quota fields.

4. After completing your edits, click on the Save button.

Your nested quotas are now applied, and you can proceed to create the project.

You can nest up to three criteria at a time using Nested quota.

The available criteria include:

• Age
• Gender
• Region
• Ethnicity

Follow these steps:

1. Go to Nested quota. By default, two criteria will already be selected.

2. Select the third criteria from the available dropdown.

3. Define or edit the nested segments in the quota field.

4. Click Save to apply the changes

To remove a nested quota:

1. Click on the Nested quota button.
2. In the Nested quota modal, click Remove nested quota.

3. Confirm by clicking on Remove.
