Synthetic data refers to artificially generated, respondent-level data that mirrors real-world survey or panel data distributions. It is used for survey testing, forecasting, modeling, and scenario analysis, while ensuring speed, cost efficiency, and privacy.

At QuestionPro, you can use the Synthetic data platform to generate synthetic reports based on available survey responses within your own community.

No, other users cannot access your community data.

You have complete control over your community and all related user data. Your data remains fully private and secure, and is not shared or made accessible to any other user, organization, or external entity.

At QuestionPro, we strictly adhere to privacy and data protection standards. This means:

• We do not allow any external or internal users to access your community data for generating or gathering synthetic reports.
• We do not use your data to train any Large Language Models (LLMs), Small Language Models (SLMs), AI, or agentic models.
• You retain full ownership and control of how your data is used within your community.

Go to Audience → Synthetic data

1. Sync the community
   • Click the Sync community button.
   
   • Select the community for which you want to generate synthetic report.
   
   • Confirm your selection to begin data synthesis.
   

   Once confirmed, your community data will be synthesized.

2. Create a Workbook
   • Click the Create workbook button.
   
   • Enter a name, description, and a detailed purpose for your study.

     The purpose helps filter data and match it with relevant questions and participants.

   • Set the similarity percentage to define how closely the synthetic data should align with your study purpose.
   • Click Create to create the workbook.
   
3. In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)
   • The workbook will now display:
     • Matched questions from the synthesized data (with matching percentages).
     • Matched members (with matching scores).

     Specify the number of members to include in the interview (between 1 and 50).

     
4. Add Questions
   • Use QuestionPro AI to auto-generate questions by clicking the Ask Question button.
   • Or add your own questions.
   
5. Generate Report
   • Once your questions are finalized, click Generate Report.
   
   • QuestionPro AI will ask the selected members the questions.
   
   • QuestionPro AI will then generate a summary report that includes:
     1. Key takeaways.
     2. In-depth summary.
     3. Insightful quotes.
     4. Similarities and differences.
     5. Recommended actions to support decisions.
     

6. Download Report
   • Export the report in PDF or Markdown format for easy sharing.
