Getting around Austin & planning ahead

Austin isn't that big, you'll get to most places within 20-30 minutes (as long as it isn't rush hour).

Don't expect to use public transportation. There are scooters and petty cabs in a few areas, but walking and Lyft are your best bets.

At night there are more than a few options of areas depending on what you're looking for. Generally, they're all quite close (5-10 minute Uber).

Dirty 6th - Everyone should see it at least one Thursday-Sat night. It lives up to its name of being quite dirty but you probably want to see it just to tell the story.

Rainey Street - A more adult, cleaner version of Dirty 6th, go here if you must but it’s for the tourists.

Half Step
Banger's
Emmer & Rye
Little brother
Clive bar

East Austin - This is a cleaner, safer version of Brooklyn 15 years ago.

The White Horse
Lazarus
Easy Tiger
Floppy Disk Repair Co.
Whistlers
Yellow Jacket Social Club
La Holly

South Austin - This is kind of broken into two areas of South Lamar and SouthCongress/South 1st St.

Broken Spoke
Continental Club
Ego's
White Tiger

People love XDay, and they've been sharing their experiences with us! All of these comments come directly from our feedback polls—take a look and scroll to see what past attendees think about the event!

Key leaders from AI and CX spaces were there, generating truly valuable conversations and sessions. I found the folks from QuestionPro to be enjoyable, collaborative, and authentic. It was very easy to participate in the intimate and relaxing format designed by the organizers. I had more quality conversations in this 1-day event than I can sometimes have at 2 or 3-day events. I'm not sure I've attended a better conference. It well-exceeded my expectations.
2024
I love the passion displayed by all QuestionPro team members!
2024
XDay 2024 was amazing. I left a video testimonial with the social media saying that I found it eye-opening — because it was unpredictable and insightful to a great degree. I enjoyed meeting several industry leaders, and learned a lot about CX practices. One of the most poignant insights I got from Stan Sthanunathan's fireside chat was to be brave and own your facts, not just use them to fill conversations. As a user experience specialist, I walked away with a clear vision, new tools to experiment with and lots of human connections, because of the wonderful networking tools that QuestionPro had built into the event.
2024
Finally, a conference that gets it - from the moment you step into the X Day world, it's about positive experiences and connections, not just a smokescreen on selling you products while you're held captive.
2024
XDay was a great networking event as well as information sharing on what is new in the research industry, and what are consumers caring and fearing about with a focus on AI.
2024
I'm so glad that I prioritized taking time out of my busy work schedule to join for XDay this year. The conference felt like it was crafted to add real value for those in attendance, not a full day infomercial for QuestionPro to tell you how great they are and what they are building next. I got to connect with so many other great CX leaders, heard from a lot of great minds from the stage on a variety of leadership and CX topics, and got to dive a bit deeper in a few of the breakout sessions. Overall it was a great, high value use of my time. Looking forward to next year!
2023
If you're looking for a place to dig deeper into the power of listening to people while deeply connecting with people who care about humanizing data as much as you do, XDay is the event for you. From easy-to-connect social opportunities to top-notch presenters who challenge you to think bigger, XDay will leave you feeling equipped and ready to make an impact in your job and in the world.
2023
XDay is a great experience no matter your profession. It provides insight on several unique techniques that allow you to innovate and implement in your everyday life whether it's profession or personal.
2023
It was a wonderful event, and not only could I use the information in my work but can also apply to my personal life. The staff were amazing and made you feel welcomed and included in the event. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
2023
I found it interesting, fun and useful. Most conferences these days are nothing but marketing. I really appreciated this professional development opportunity.
2022
I learned so much and such interesting views it is hard to pick one. Brand Density, NPS and CX and economic goal, what success hinges on: executive action, employee engagement, execution, what is truely valued in an organization. I could go on and on. This was very information.
2019
I was extremely fascinated about the use of AI and NLP to manipulate unstructured customer and business interactions to get valuable decision-making information for business opportunities.
2019
I am particularly thrilled by the fact that the CEO of QuestionPro made himself available to meet with any customer who was there. That gives a great feeling about the organization. I am now more excited about QuestionPro.
