The output file format refers to the type of file used to download collected survey responses.
There are two main types:
Excel (.xlsx) - This is a rich, formatted, multi-sheet spreadsheet format. It contains detailed survey data including how many people completed the survey, how many dropped out, and how many responses were incomplete or terminated. It includes information like response IDs, response status, and the answers to all survey questions provided by respondents. Additionally, it often provides percentage breakdowns for each question, showing the proportion of respondents who agreed, disagreed, or were neutral.
CSV (.csv) - This is a plain text format with raw data only. It is easy to share and import into other systems but provides less detailed information than the Excel format. The CSV file includes individual responses but does not summarize or provide aggregated data.
The choice between these formats depends on how detailed the user wants the survey data to be.
