Communities - Custom Field Merge
Custom field merge helps to update the custom variables for community members. With the help of excel file, we can add upto 5 custom variables and update the same for community members.
How to use custom field merge?
Go to: Communities >> Edit >> Import/Export >> Custom Field Merge
- Open MS-Excel.
- Add first column as email address followed by Custom1,Custom2….Custom5. First row should always be row header.
- Add the member's email addresses and custom variables data.
- Browse for the file and click on merge member data.

Note: Custom field merge supports only 5 custom variables. File with at least one custom variable is mandatory.
