As part of the process of identifying the extent of use of this technology in the sector today, we would like you to answer a small number of questions. The process should take a few minutes and is automated to be as efficient as possible.

Please consider the following scenario: The vehicle manufacturer(s) started adding a durable standardised RFID tag to their cars, designed to stay with the car until its end of live (ELV). Estimate how much cost savings could be achieved in your operations if all vehicles were equipped with such a tag. If possible, please differentiate between a read-only tag and a read/write tag. The former would simply provide a means of uniquely identifying the vehicle (e.g. through its VIN number), while the latter would allow you to store additional information with the vehicle, while it is with you.
