Dear Participant:
This an invitation for you as a volunteer to participate in a research project under the direction of the Department of Human Development, Consumer & Family Sciences. The project is entitled Young Adult Volunteerism: Motivation & Satisfaction. The purpose of the project is to understand the motivational reasons for volunteering and satisfaction level of current American Red Cross in the Midwest states between the ages of 18-24. If you consent to participate, you will be involved in the following process, which will take less than 15 minutes of your time.

Participation in this project is voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at any time without penalty. If you have any questions, you may contact the project director at the number listed above. There are no known risks to your participation in the study. There are no direct benefits to you however it is hoped that this study will benefit the American Red Cross. There is no compensation for your participation in this study. Your responses are strictly confidential. When the data and analysis are presented, you will not be linked to the data by your name, title or any other identifying item.
