You are invited to participate in my questionnaire which is based on your printing habits. The data is to be used for my dissertation and will include questions on printing in your individual room / office or a shared room / office and some departmental centralised printing facilities here on the Stirling University Campus.
This year Stirling University has begun work on the Carbon Trust's Carbon Management Programme for Universities. The aim of Stirling University's Carbon Management Programme is to reduce its carbon emissions by examining the habits behind energy, waste and travel usage. Cost reduction also has a strong influence here on the Stirling University Campus and quite often both reducing carbon emissions and costs go hand in hand.
The questionnaire has been reformatted and newly – designed due to the feedback from the initial questionnaire.
Completion will take about 10 to 15 minutes. Although your participation in this study is completely voluntary, it will be of great help for my dissertation and may benefit both you and Stirling University in the near and distant future.
No action is currently being taking place for any additional centralised printing system on campus, nor is anything in the pipeline to be designed from the outcome of this questionnaire.

This information is required as my dissertation is based on trying to reduce carbon emissions and monetary spending for the University by investing into whether the use of ONLY an easily accessible centralised printing system in each department could be a possibility.
