Dear Sir or Madam:

We are following-up on our earlier letter that requested your participation in a study of travel behaviour and urban form. As we had explained earlier, the study has been commissioned by the Canada Mortgage Housing Corporation (CMHC). In this survey, approximately 4,000 households are being interviewed on how they travel to participate in daily activities and how they connect with their immediate surroundings, which may include green space, shopping, etc. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. The study will help us understand how urban form and urban design can contribute in designing sustainable neighbourhoods that promote active life styles and higher community integration while reducing our reliance on the private automobiles. It is, therefore, very important for us to learn about your opinions.

Your survey responses will be stricly confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact the survey manager, Rahel MERISSA or Professor Murtaza Haider, at the email address specified below.

Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
