The dataset could represent different areas, not only the U.S.
The class could be advertised more aggressively
Instructions on how to install “study environment” software (Flash, QGIS, etc) should be more detailed
It would be great if class materials (lectures, software and datasets) were provided on CDs prior to class
Module on databases should be designed in such way, that it’s possible to install on a local computer (instead of performing exercise over Internet)
Instructors should try to establish local support groups (if there are several students from one area)
