Footwear customization is basically made-to-order footwear. On the positive side, it is more likely to fit better, and it has the flexibility to let the consumer mix and match features to his/her taste (for instance, match a certain kind of heel with a preferred color or material). However, because of the individualized production, it is also expensive and usually takes days to a few weeks to finish.
