Project Abstract

Employee engagement refers to an employee’s emotional and intellectual involvement with their organization.
Engaged employees will exhibit both behavioral (i.e. citizenship behavior, higher performance and productivity) and attitudinal engagement (i.e. commitment and intention to stay with the company). The purpose of this project is to answer the following two questions:
(1) Why are some employees engaged and others are not?
(2) How can a company have more engaged employees?
