Member Status and SSO

What status must a member have so that SSO can be used? Is it necessary for login via SSO that the member has the status “verified”? Or is “new” enough?

SSO functionality is not affected by the member"s status. However, in order to log in via SSO, the member"s email address must be listed in the SSO directory. Irrelevant to if member is verified or a new user, SSO will only work if their email address is present in the SSO directory.
