Abortion-related stories

This survey is an opportunity for you to share your story related to abortion. Some of those stories will be included in a book that I am writing about how people's personal experiences shape their views on abortion.

I am especially interested in hearing the stories of people whose mothers were faced with very difficult choices because of a pregnancy. I want to know how those people feel about the impact those decisions have had on their on their lives, their mothers, and on others in their family or community.

This is a very short questionnaire, and you do not need to answer any questions that you do not want to. If, on the other hand, you wish to write extensively, many questions allow you unlimited space for writing. If you later remember additional information, or if you cannot finish this all in one sitting, you take this survey as many times as you wish. One question in the survey will allow you to link your previous responses to this one.

Your story as told here will be strictly confidential. If your story is included in my book, all identifying information will be removed. If you have any questions or concerns about sharing your story, including my procedures for protecting your identity, please contact me by email at [email protected].

The one exception to the confidentiality rules stated above is threats of death or bodily harm. Such messages will be turned over to law enforcement along with the participant's IP address.
