Hello:

Before you take this survey please be aware it is intended for people diagnosed with ADHD or those caring for someone with ADHD.

You are invited to participate in my survey about ADHD and Mainstream schooling. Children with ADHD are often diagnosed between the age of 6 and 10. At such a young age it should be relatively easy for schools to identify, evaluate and implement a plan of action designed to help these children reach their full potential. However, many mainstream schools 'segregate' children with ADHD in to 'specialist' schools under the guise of helping them when it can in fact have a negative effect on their educational, personal and social development. This survey is designed to test whether this statement is true or false.

In this survey, approximately 100 people will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about their experiences relating to being diagnosed with ADHD and the experiences of their educational years.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. Please provide a pseudonym in the appropriate box for reference purposes should you wish to withdraw your results at any point. if this is the case please contact me on [email protected] stating your pseudonym and that you wish to withdraw. It is very important for us to learn your opinions but wish for you to retain the right to anonymity and the right to withdraw at any time.
