How many applicants applied for admission to the first year class of the professional O.D. program for fall 2009? (An applicant is defined as an individual whose credentials were sufficiently complete to qualify for preliminary evaluation by an admission officer and who has paid the application fee unless the application fee was waived.)

How many applicants were accepted? (Accepted applicants are those who were extended an offer for admission whether they accepted the admission offer or not.)

How many applicants were denied? (Denied applicants are those who failed to receive an offer of admission and were not placed "on hold" or on a list of alternates. Denied applicants do not include those applicants who, on their own initiative, requested that their application be withdrawn.)

How many applicants were enrolled? (Enrolled applicants are those whose name was entered into the register of students and who remained enrolled until at least October 15, 2009.)

What is the average age of applicants? (Average age refers to the arithmetic mean of the ages of the specified category of student; it is calculated by ading individual ages and dividing the total by the number of individuals.

What is the median age of applicants? (Median age refers to the value of the middle item when the items are arranged according to size.)
