The ATV will have enough speed to clear the majority of the ditch and land on the other side, you will feel a slight bump.
 
The ATV will travel down the ditch slope and back up, causing the rider (and possibly) ATV to rise into the air (i.e. "jumping")
 
The ATV will "ground" itself on the far side of the ditch, throwing the rider violently off the ATV.
