Nope! I already knew everything.
Yes - there was more running than expected.
Yes - it was hot, and drinking water was important!
Yes - I must tuck in my Referee shirt and pull up my socks.
Yes - Referees have to watch many places at the same time.
Yes - Some referees have two watches, just in case.
Yes - Assistant Referees may be asked to take center at any time.
Yes - To be safe, ask Owen Kimbro to mentor me. He knows everything!

It was scary.
It was scary, but I feel better now.
It was scary, and I feel worse now.
I was so scared, I don't even remember what happened.
It was a breeze. I can do it all day long.
Running and thinking at the same time is way too hard.
I'm glad I tried it. It was safe with a Mentor.
I definitely will be more respectful to the Referees from now on. Honest!

Denise is awesome!
Everyone was so welcoming, I already feel like I'm part of the team.
We have the best Referees ever.
It was nice to see Owen, and Niko, and Ravi, and Kelly, and Paul, and .....
I don't know who those people are, but would like to find out.
Having Mentors is great. Makes me feel more comfortable about Refereeing.
I didn't know we had such a strong Referee team.
Can we do this again?

If you see your Mentor on the field, in uniform or not, come by and say hello, ask a question, share a story. And, be prepared for the Mentor to do the same to you!!!
