In general, Pivot's work with districts falls into five "focal areas." We would appreciate your feedback on the services and deliverables provided by Pivot in any of the focal areas in which Pivot provided services to your district. A list of the focal areas, with examples of possible services provided within each, are below. Projects may have work in any or all of these areas.
 
 
 
Five Focal Areas

1. 21st Century Teaching and Learning

This includes professional development and coaching around Common Core, as well as our work with Teacher Leaders, on Instructional Rounds and with Technology

2. Leadership & Change Design

This includes coaching work with Superintendents, district office and school personnel, assistance with designing and implementing change initiatives, and other leadership capacity building activities, such as classroom walkthroughs

3. Central Office Transformation

This includes work on central office systems, such as teacher and principal evaluation and PD systems, and with central office departments to redesign processes or shift customer service focus

4. School Finance

This includes work around LCFF, LCAP (including community engagement & LCAP planning), using Pivot’s PBAR tool, and other school finance systems or reform efforts.

5. Community Planning & Local Accountability

This includes work on community engagement, community planning and strategic planning.
