President
* I, Robert McGlennon would like to run for President of College Republicans. I will be a Senior and my major is: Political Science. I am a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and an strong supporter of the Military and the outreach the we, the College Republicans and our party represent on campus. I believe that as President we can continue our efforts on supporting our troops as well as organized/planned events we have per semester/per year. I feel that in order to be effective, you most be sociable and willing to go the distance in or to achieve a desired goal. A "no quit" mentality is essential and I consider myself a "go getter." I bring leadership to the table, and am willing to do whatever it takes to make College Republicans the continued success club that it has been in the past.

I, Hanlen Hoover, am interested in running for the position of President and Vice President. I am a Junior Nursing student at RMU. I am the current secretary of CR’s and am actively involved as I have been involved with the 9/11 project, Veteran’s project and many more events/projects that we have held. While not at school I assist with Republican campaigning in my hometown, which is in Harrisburg, PA. I am interested in running for these positions because I would like to take on more responsibility within this club and allow more opportunities for CR’s at this school to become involved in. I have held many leadership positions in the clubs/organizations that I am actively involved in on campus. I am apart of SNAP (Nursing club), Italian Club, MOSAIC Diversity Club, and Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. I am the current Secretary of Phi Sig and have assisted with amending our Chapter by-laws and Brotherhood point system. I exemplify great leadership and communication skills that are required to hold an officer position within an organization and would help improve the CR club at RMU!

Vice President
* For next year's board I, Alex Merryman, am interested in running for the Vice President spot. Currently, I am finishing my freshman year. I am a dual Economics/Marketing major. This past year, I was the SGA Rep for College Republicans, a position I was fortunate to receive and that I was happy for the experience it provided me with. Other than college republicans, I am secretary for Voci Italiane, Vice President of Model United Nations, and a member of the Honors program. My junior year of high school I volunteered for a political campaign, and my senior year I interned for a Congressman. Both were great experiences that have developed my political efficacy. As Vice President, I'd like to continue the great things we do as an organization and help organize more events throughout the year, especially since it will be primary season. I'd also like to seek out and provide the club with opportunities to work with politicians and attend some major events, such as CPAC and eventually the RNC.

Treasurer
* I, Nicholas Tufarolo, am interested in running for the position of Treasurer for the upcoming school year. I will be a senior in the fall. I am a business student with a finance major and an honors program minor. On campus, I intern in the Accounts Payable department of RMU's Financial Operations, and I also serve as the Vice President of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. I have been with the CR's since the Fall of 2013. I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Beta Gamma Sigma honors society for business students, and the Order of Omega honors society for Greek leaders, but I am not very active in these organizations. So, I would like to serve the CR's as Treasurer because a goal for my senior year is to have more of an influence on the various groups to which I belong. My organizational skills, reliability, and experience with creating budgets will help me to excel as the next treasurer.

I, Alana Hiner, am interested in running for an officer position in the College Republicans. While I prefer Secretary or Treasurer, I would be willing to fill any position. In the Fall, I will be a sophomore and I am a Computer Information Systems major. Besides the College Republicans, I am active in the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) here at RMU. We organize outreach events on campus, volunteer in service projects, and meet as a campus ministry every Thursday night in the chapel. Although I grew up in a conservative home, I have grown to develop my own political and economic beliefs. I believe that America’s values are ground in the Constitution; the country can return to representing its original values under a Conservative leader who upholds the ideal of freedom on which America was founded. I would love to be involved in the leadership of the College Republicans because I believe this group does great things on campus for the students, such as allowing them to be involved in giving back tothe troops and veterans. I believe I can be a successful officer because I would make my position a priority and because of my organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
