_Onshore Wind: The use of air flow through turbines to mechanically power generators for electricity
_Hydro Power: Water released from a reservoir to flow through a turbine driving it which in turn activates a generator to produce electricity
_Wave Power: The capture of energy from surface waves to do useful work
_Geothermal Power: Using energy heat from the Earth
_Energy from Waste: Generating electricity from the primary treatment of waste. This is either through the combustion of waste in high temperatures in controlled environments or other efficient thermal processes, as well as non-thermal processes such as anaerobic digestion and mechanical biological treatment
