Introduction

Thank you for your interest in working for Pivot Learning Partners!  As part of the hiring process, we are asking that you complete the following "Employee Profile."

This profile allows you to identify which of our three program areas in which you are most interested in working and then to provide us information about your background, experience and skills related to those area(s).

We will use the information that you provide to:
1) Add you to our pool of coaches from which we draw from for project assignments and internal projects such as supporting the development of new products and services;
2) Provide information about your background and skills to those at Pivot seeking project coaches; and to
3) Share information with a client or potential client about the assigned project team.

We may also use the data you provide, in aggregate, to share information externally in applications for grant-, government and fee-for-service work, and with future funders or clients, about the overall profile of our coaches (e.g. number of former superintendents, number of math content area experts).

For these reasons, this employee profile should be completed by all new candidates for Project Leads and/or coach positions. Any candidates for Project Leads and/or coaches must complete the Profile before starting work with Pivot.

All interested coaches should complete the overview section, which will provide us with basic information.  Then you will be prompted to choose which of our three program areas you are interested in applying to work and align to your experience and expertise.  You can choose one, two or three areas and will be prompted to provide information only in the areas you select. At the very end of the Employee Profile, you will be prompted to upload your resume, as well as artifacts that reflect your work in the program area section(s) that you have completed. We have included further direction at that point in time.

If you need support while completing or submitting this form, including attaching artifacts, please contact Alanna Lynn at [email protected] or Madeleine Jacobs at [email protected].

Note: Please set aside at least enough time to complete a single page in one sitting. Do not leave your computer until you have completed the page that you are currently on. QuestionPro only allows 90 minutes of inactivity per page before it logs you out of that page. If it logs you out, you will lose that information.

Based on our pilot of the Profile, we believe that it will take you anywhere between 2-3 hours to complete the Profile. In most cases, with the open ended text boxes, you should be able to take information from an existing resume. In most cases, for the other questions, you will select radio buttons or choose from drop down menus – which should save time. The most time consuming part of the profile will likely be the compiling and uploading of artifacts.

To start the profile, please choose "Continue" below to begin the Overview section on the next page. Welcome aboard!

Note: If you are ready to continue completing the profile, please select "Continue." If you would like to save your work thus far and return to working on this at a later time, choose "Save Page and Continue Later." When you click "Save Page and Continue Later," you will be prompted to complete the entire page and then click "Okay."

At that time, you will need to enter an email address to which QuestionPro will send your survey link. At a later time, when you are ready to start working on the Profile again, you will click on the survey link sent to your email, and it will take you back to the survey. You may need to check your spam folder to find this link.

Note that you will not return to the page you left before. Instead, you will be directed to the next page of the Profile. In fact, you will not be able to return to the page you left in your previous session, and you cannot go backwards in the tool. For this reason, it is very important that you complete the entire page before you click on ‘Save Page and Continue Later’ and ‘Okay.’ In that way, although you do not have to complete the entire Profile in one sitting, you do have to complete the page you are viewing in one sitting.

Employee Profile Artifacts

IMPORTANT: Do NOT click "Continue" until you have uploaded your resume and artifacts at the link below. Clicking continue without uploading your documents will end the survey, and you will be unable to return to upload your artifacts.

Now is your opportunity to upload your resume and 1-3 artifacts for each program area you are interested in working.  This provides an opportunity for you to share work samples that best represent the depth and breadth of your experience and allows us to get to know you beyond your resume.  Please use the following notes and instructions to determine which work samples will be most useful and the practicalities of how to post.

We invite you to share artifacts that represent your strongest work over the past ten years. For example, agendas from any site leadership meetings, an LCAP you helped to develop, or any curriculum you have helped to design with a non-profit, county office, district, and/or school.

Click on this link to upload artifacts: Post your resume and Employee Profile artifacts for all 3 programs here.

Notes:
1) Please click on this link and download this PDF: Content Developer Description Cover Page. Then, after you have downloaded the cover page, complete the fields on the cover page and combine this cover page with a PDF version of the artifact that you want to upload. Please upload the cover page and the artifact together as one document. This cover page will help us better understand the work that we are reviewing.
2) If you are posting related documents (different documents used during a single PD day, PLC agendas developed during the same school year at the same school, etc.), please combine all documents into one PDF, combine it with the PDF of the Cover Page, and upload as one document.
3) We ask that you upload at least 1 and not more than 3 documents for each program area section you complete.
4) Please do not exceed our limit of 20 pages altogether (if your document exceeds 20 pages, please determine what you would like to cut before uploading).
5) Artifacts should represent fairly recent work (developed and/or used in the last1-10 years).

In some cases, you may want to include work you have done within a district, school, etc. We understand that some of this information may be sensitive or confidential. In this case, you have the option to redact any identifying information from the documents through the following methods:

1) If your document is in Word format, simply replace the identifying information with “[NAME REDACTED]” or a similar phrase
2) If your document is a hard copy, cross out any identifying information before scanning and submitting your artifact
3) If your document is in PDF format, open the document in Adobe Acrobat and go to “Tools,” then “Protection,” then “Mark for Redaction.” Select the areas of the document you wish to redact, then click “Apply Redactions.”

For more detailed instructions on uploading your artifacts, please consult the Employee Profile FAQ document, found here

If you need techical support while uploading artifacts, please contact Alanna Lynn at [email protected] or Madeleine Jacobs at [email protected]
