Farmington Woods - 2014 Major Member Guest

While there is snow on the ground and most of you have already forgotten how good / bad the Major Member Guest was last July, in order to make sure that we are always improving I putting out this quick survey. Hopefully you will be able to provide input to ensure that this years will be better than last years

This set of questions is requesting feedback on the Format of the 2014 Member Guest

Did you like the two rounds on Friday afternoon / three rounds on Saturday and two rounds on Sunday schedule

Did you like the scoring method of 1 point for each hole won with a half getting 4.5 points

No - Preferred the older system of 1.1, 1.2 etc

No - Would prefer to see 1 point for each hole won and 5 points for a half

Last year we allowed more than 6 flights (48 teams) into the competition which caused a lot of flights to play PAR as well as an imbalance in the number of teams playing on one side of the course.

This year I would prefer it capped to 48 teams - 6 flights (split 3 & 3)

This year I would prefer it capped to 56 teams - 7 flights (split 4 & 3)

Last year a question was raised about playing PAR, as the average margin of winning when playing PAR on the front was 3 points and on the back it was 1 point. If teams have to play PAR this year would you prefer

To play PAR on the same side as your flight is playing that match (same as last year)

To play PAR on the same side for each team within the Flight, e.g. All teams in the flight will play PAR on the same side

Please provide feedback on how you feel the format could be altered to make it better for 2015
