Hello:
You are invited to participate in our survey about FETCH. FETCH (For Everything That's Community Health) is a database initiated by the Campbell River and District Division of Family Practice under the GP for Me Project. It is a resource tool designed to be used by physicians, MOAs and the general public and we hope that you have had a chance to utilize it.
www.campbellriver.fetchbc.ca
The Campbell River and District Division of Family Practice is now considering a Password Protected Physician Side of FETCH that will only be available to physicians, locums and medical residents within our district.
We are soliciting ideas on what would be useful to you in your practice that can be supported on a user-friendly, secure, searchable website. One example put forward was having physician practice profiles that listed GP specialists, procedures and areas of interest, e.g., vasectomies; circumcisions; obstetrics; palliative care; mental health, etc.
This survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project and your responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Christine Colbert, Executive Director, A GP For Me at 250-287-2358 or by email at
[email protected]
.
