LIPL Culture Survey

# There are 6 groups of questions.

# One group at a time will be visible on the screen.

# You are required to give two ratings: one is "Now" i.e. how do we feel about the LIPL now and the other is "preferred" i.e. how do we want it to be in 5 years.

# You are required to give marks in the range of 0-100 to various alternatives in the group such that the vertical total of the group is 100 i.e. the total of column “Now” should be 100 & the total of column “Preferred” should also be 100.

# Give high marks to the alternative which you feel is closest to LIPL and the vice versa.

# There are no correct / incorrect answers. Each question is exclusive of each other; hence it is normal that you may have to reduce some marks to increase others.

* 1. Management style is characterized by teamwork, consensus and participation
* 2. Management style is individual risk taking, uniqueness, freedom and innovation
* 3. Management style is hard-driving competitiveness, high demands and achievement
* 4. Management style is conformity, security of employment and stability of relationship

Group 4
Total of each column should be 100

	Now (0-100)	Preferred (0-100)
* 1. What holds LIPL together is loyalty and mutual trust. Commitment to this organization runs high
* 2. What holds LIPL together is the commitment to innovation and development. There is an emphasis on being the cutting edge.
* 3. Emphasis on achievement and accomplishment holds LIPL together
* 4. What holds LIPL together is the formal rules and policies. Maintaining a smooth running LIPL is important

Group 5

* 1. LIPL emphasizes human development. High trust, openness and participation persist
* 2. LIPL emphasizes on acquiring new resources and creating new challenges. Trying new things and prospecting for opportunities are valued
* 3. LIPL emphasizes competitive actions and achievement. Hitting stretch goals and winning in market place are dominant
* 4. LIPL emphasizes on permeance and stability. Efficiency, control and smooth operations are important
