Hello:
As a leader in the brewing industry, you are invited to participate in a survey regarding brewery waste streams. In this survey, approximately 75 industry experts will be asked to share their views on the growing trend for breweries to generate renewable energy from the production waste water that is typically being sent down the drain or trucked off site.. It will take approximately 7 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
This research is being conducted by a graduate student at The John’s Hopkins University, Carey Business School who is studying Renewables and the Environment. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact David Simms at 240.643.5866 or by email at
[email protected]
Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.
Cheers,
David

Is your fresh water supply ample or is reducing water consumption a high priority for your brewery?

Does your brewery typically buy new equipment related to waste or water treatment as a capital purchase or are there times this has been outsourced to a third party?
Capital Purchase
Third Party

If a bioreactor for creating energy from your wastewater proved attractive from an economic and process standpoint, would there be space adjacent to the brewery where this might be located?
Yes
No
Who are the people in your organization who might want to learn more about reducing wastewater costs and creating clean energy as a byproduct? Contact info______
Thank you for taking the survey! If you are interested in the results please feel free to e-mail or call. Also, I will be attending the Craft Brewers Conference in Washington DC this March.
