Learning Goal/Purpose Statement: The purpose of this educational activity is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Registered Nurse fulfilling the role of Charge Nurse in the area of Leadership. This will be accomplished by taking a closer look at AONE competencies in an effort to improve patient care through an improved understanding of leadership principles, as evidenced by program evaluations.
