Thank you participating in this phase of the listening campaign!
The goal of the listening campaign is to explore the question: How can we create both formal infrastructure and also less formal social settings in an environment of diminishing resources to optimize our opportunities for learning, knowledge sharing and reflection?
Based on conversations with project leads and regional directors in an earlier phase of the listening campaign, the following themes have emerged as critical to understanding and answering our inquiry question: 1) fostering and honoring personal motivation, expertise, and connection to the work (the individual spark); 2) developing our working relationships with one another and the structures that support these (the Pivot Network); and 3) Pivot central’s role in creating and supporting all of these aspects of the learning environment.
This survey will pose questions related to these three themes. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Please note that this survey does not discuss every learning opportunity and setting. Some structures are not included here because we know we will continue them (new coach training, for example); we have a lot of data on it (such as the importance of collaboration time); or we know our budget will not allow for it, and don't want to foster false hope (the annual conference, for example).
The results of this survey will be reported back to all of Pivot—coaches, project leads, and staff—and combined with other listening campaign data to inform a proposal for next steps. This proposal will be distributed to all of Pivot for feedback and revised to create an implementation plan for the 2011-12 program year.
If you have any questions or concerns about the process, please feel free to contact me at 415-644-3411 or [email protected].
