How instructive was Paly Principal, Phil Winston's welcome talk?

It wasn't particularly instructive.

I learned some things but it wasn't a significant part of the day.

I learned a lot about his vision and leadership style, as well as Palo Alto's high schools.

What impact did PAUSD Superintendent Skelly's presentation have on you?

My perspective didn't change much as a result of his talk.

I came away with a better understanding of PAUSD under Dr. Skelly's leadership but it didn't leave a lasting impression.

I have a new understanding of the PAUSD and Dr. Skelly's leadership and vision, both of which have made me think.

How enlightening was the panel on Trends, Opportunities and Challenges for Public Education in Palo Alto? (Panel moderated by Chris Kenrick Palo Alto Weekly/Palo Alto Online, panelists: Barb Mitchell, PAUSD School Board, Kara Rosenberg, Palo Alto Adult School, Kathy Schroeder, PiE, and Denise Swett, Foothill College)

Not at all enlightening.

I learned a little something I didn't know before.

I gained a great understanding of Public Education in Palo Alto.

I went from a "blank slate" to amazingly informed.

Please elaborate on your response to the question above:

What did you learn from the panel on Collaborating for a Better Education in Palo Alto and Beyond (Lisa Van Dusen, moderator, LPA 2.0, Ann Doerr, Khan Academy, Anna Waring, Foundation for a College Education, Sarah Mummah, DreamCatchers, Deb Hof, Girls Middle School)? What surprised you ~ positively or negatively? What stuck with you? Was there anything that called you to action?

How valuable was the lunchtime tour of the Paly campus in seeing the evidence of collaborative efforts in our public schools?

A waste of time.

I enjoyed the tour, but it didn't show me anything of value.

I saw how much collaboration is involved in running our schools.

I didn't go on the tour.

What did you gain from the Leadership Skill-building portion of the day? What did you learn about yourself and others? What was the nature of the experience for you? How do you see yourself applying what you learned?
