The Metro State License Plate was first introduced in 2002. This official license plate features the Roadrunner mascot and the words "METRO STATE COLLEGE" in front of a snow-capped mountain background. Vouchers for these license plates can be purchased through the Alumni Association. The cost is $25 for current students and alumni that have graduated within the last year, and $50 dollars for everyone else. All the profits from these vouchers go towards student scholarships at the college. Because the Metro State license plates are considered specialty plates, there is also a one-time, $50 fee at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
These license plates show pride and support for anyone who has a connection to Metro State College. This survey will help us better understand how to effectively market this product.
