According to traditional residency educational standards and ACGME educational standards, a didactic curriculum is used to cover important facets of physical medicine and rehabilitation allowing for in-depth discussion with other residents and faculty to supplement your own reading, non-classroom clinical experiences and “hands-on” learning. Do you feel that our didactic sessions reflect this?

For PM&R, ACGME mandates that residents:
(1) demonstrate knowledge of established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social-behavioral sciences, as well as application of this knowledge to patient care.
(2) demonstrate ability to investigate and evaluate their care of patients, to appraise and assimilate scientific evidence to continuously improve patient care.
