How many times did this situation happen: being with a couple of friends at your house, you fell like watching a movie but you don´t know exactly which one? You and your friends cannot make up your mind, start to get impatient, loose precious minutes of entertainment and then with the stress, you end up choosing a crappy movie that everyone watches until the end so that you won´t get into a “fight” again.
Now think about those interactive games in which you think of a celebrity and that, throughout a set of questions, the program tells you which person were you thinking about, and you stayed amazed with the intelligence of the program to figure out you mind.
Imagine combining these two situations into a helpful and amusement application…
Our project is a virtual application/game which helps the customer to choose which movie to watch, at a specific time. This application consists in a set of multiple choice questions which, throughout a scheme of answers given by the customers, it creates a path which will lead to the “perfect movie” to watch at that time, according to the client´s momentaneous moods and feelings. And because an individual normally watches movies with friends, colleagues, familly etc…, it is also available the option of selecting the multiplayer scheme, collocating the number of “players” that are involved in the decision and then each one of them passes through the same process of answering the questions. At the end, the application will also combine all the questions answered and then present the “perfect movie” that best suits the group´s willing.
