Dear colleague,

In this survey, primary school staff at BISI will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about peer coaching at BISI. It will take approximately 20 - 25 minutes to complete.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential. Your information / data/ responses will be coded and will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Jacques Marais at BISI's Secondary School [Zek Campus] or by email.

You are guaranteed that NO staff member from the school will be identified by name in any oral or written report / essay by Mr Jacques Marais towards his MBA (Education) studies based on the results of the study. Results of this study will be released to the school and participants upon request.

2) Aims of study:

This research study aims to:
(i) determine participants’ receptivity to the peer coaching program at BISI's primary school section.
(ii) provide an insight into the role of peer coaching as a tool to enhance staff collaboration, reflection and experential learning experiences.
(iii) highlight negative perceptions and aspects of the ‘coaching experience’from both the coach and coachee’s viewpoints.
(iv) evaluate participant’s perceptions of their own coaching abilities.
(v) identify ways in which the coaching programme at BISI can be developed in the future to lead to a climate of 'experiental learning' amongst staff members.

The survey consists of two(2) parts. An online survey and a peer coaching attitude and belief section as a paper copy.
