This project is being undertaken as part of an undergraduate research paper for POLS220 - Digital Politics in the Department of Politics at the University of Otago. The aim of this paper is to understand how young people in New Zealand use social media to engage in politics.

If you agree to take part, the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.I have read the above information concerning this project and understand what it is about.

I understand that I am free to request further information at any stage by emailing the researcher. I know that:

1. My participation in the project is entirely voluntary.
2. I am free to withdraw from the project at any time without any disadvantage.
3. Personal identifying information will be destroyed at the conclusion of the project.
4. I may decline to answer any particular question(s) and/or may withdraw from the project without any disadvantage of any kind.
5. The results of the project will be submitted as part of a research paper for POLS220 - Digital Politics at the University of Otago. Only the researcher and Lecturer will have access to this paper.
