Hello:
You are invited to participate in our survey [REL 399 Senior Seminar]. In this survey, course participants will be asked questions about the Seminar and its possible revision. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete the questionnaire.  It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will not be identified by name; they will remain anonymous.  The results will be shared with the faculty of the Religion Department, to inform them as they consider future directions for the Seminar. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact [email protected].

Thank you very much for your time and support. Please start with the survey now by clicking on the Continue button below.

The following is a draft for a revision of REL 399. What are your immediate responses to this course description? ..... Building on previous coursework, religion majors will explore in depth an issue of special interest. In this course, students will write a journal length paper, which will demonstrate facility with methods in the appropriate field. The paper will be written under the direction of the seminar instructor, critiqued by seminar students, and students will be expected to make a public presentation to an appropriate scholarly or professional audience. Prerequisite: Successful completion of REL-200. Offered in the Fall.

Reflect on your experiences in the Poster Presentation. How did your poster presentation contribute to your learning in this course?

What do you think of the religion major requiring students either to study abroad or do an approved internship? Would that have made you more or less likely to major?
