What does Remote Communication Technologies means anyway ?

I think you meant Remote control and tea.

Smoke signals and such.

Teleconferences, videoconferences, WebEx and more.

What is your experience with Teleconferencing (=a telephone conversation between more than two people) ?

I don't need it to do my work, but my granny would like it!

To organize a tele/videoconference you just need to drop an e-mail to [email protected] and the AudioVisual Department will get in touch with you.

We have 2 High Definition Videoconference systems in use here in RS,both able to send and receive laptop content as well.

To use a Videoconference is completely free for you and for your attendee; he doesn't even need to own a Videoconference as he can join in easily from any computer.

We can record in various formats and resolutions your Videoconference, for free.

We can stream on the web your Videoconference, for up to 25 connections, for free.

Using a videoconference makes your skin smoother.

What about these other solutions available out there?

What is your experience with WebEx (a secure web application that allows you to share your desktop, do realtime file sharing and editing) ?

I don't know it but I wish I could get an induction on it.
