Teacher Perception About Giftedness

You are invited to participate in our survey on Teacher Perception of Giftedness in Culturally Diverse Students. The purpose of this survey is to try to understand teacher's cultural beliefs, perceptions, and attitudes concerning ESOL students influencing their nomination for gifted programs. The information learned in this survey will be used to design professional development programs for teachers who work with culturally diverse students to increase their representation in gifted education. In this survey, several people will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about the underrepresentation of culturally diverse students in gifted programs. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. You can choose whether or not to participate in this survey and stop at any time. Your responses and identify will remain anonymous and your name will not be reported or associated with your responses. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data from this research will be reported only in the aggregate. Your information will be coded and will remain confidential.
