As part of Talent Management here at Pivot, we want to continue improving our understanding and articulation of why people do work here and why new potential employees should want to work at Pivot. We are going to begin some exciting discussions at our November staff meeting, starting with the questions: “Why do you work for Pivot? What would you want to communicate to potential employees about what it’s like to work for Pivot? How should we communicate those messages?”
In preparation for this conversation, we are asking each of you to spend 15 minutes exploring three websites we consider strong in this area and whom we might want to eventually emulate (depending on what you all think). Please spend about five minutes exploring each website, viewing through the lens of a potential employee who is trying to determine your “fit” with the organization, then answer the questions that follow with your immediate reactions (don’t dwell on your response – just give us your first reaction). To help guide your view, focus your “website crawl” on the homepage, the “About Us” section and the “Careers/Jobs/Join Our Staff” section.
