PRINCIPAL RESEARCHER: Dr. Grant Palmer
OTHER/STUDENT RESEARCHERS: Mr. Brendan Champness

Dear participant,

Welcome to this survey, which is a part of the project ‘Birds in Urban Landscapes. Does the ecological data match the social perception.’ This research project is an activity of the School of Science, Information Technology & Engineering (SITE), University of Ballarat and is being conducted by Honours student Brendan Champness and Dr. Grant Palmer.
The purpose of this survey is to determine if the attitudes of Ballarat residents towards birds reflect the particular area and streetscape in which they live (for example a street with a large proportion of native plants).

We invite members of the public who reside in the Ballarat region to undertake this survey to assist in this research. By beginning and submitting this survey you are consenting to participate in this study.
