This survey is conducted under the content of "Entrepreneurship And Innovation Theory", a course of Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin.

The purpose of this survey is to observe participants' preference about several indicators of jobs and to clarify the difference across the fields of studies.

In this survey, you find 9 different types of jobs. Please imagine you are almost finishing your study and looking for a job after graduation. So, you are offered these 9 jobs at the same time. Your task is to give the ranking of these opportunities (the best one should be ranked as 1 and the worst should be ranked as 9).

Every job is a combination of levels of four attributes. In the next two pages, there is the explanation of those attributes and levels.

In this page, there are the explanations of the first two attributes.

Attribute A (Leadership)
This attribute is an indicator of the opportunity to work as a leader in a project. After you start working, you have chance to lead a project in your organization*. Skills of all members in the project group are more or less the same as you have. Your supervisor and other experienced workers also support your group. So, there are three different frequency levels of this attributes.

Level 1(A1): You have a chance to lead a project once in every one year.
Level 2(A2): You have a chance to lead a project once in every two years.
Level 3(A3): You have a chance to lead a project once in every three years.

* Leading project is not obligate.


Attribute B (Job Requirement)
This attribute is an indicator of what is required for your job.

Level 1(B1): This job requires you daily tasks the same every day.
Level 2(B2): This job provides you a variety of experiences and requires a variety of skills.

In this page, there are the explanations of the next two attributes.

Attribute C (Salary level)
This attribute refers your salary after joining in the job. According to the data of the Berlin Brandenburg Statistic Offices*, the gross average wage in Berlin is about 39,000€ in the year 2010.

Level 1(C1): You are offered €33,200/year (about 15% less than average)
Level 2(C2): You are offered €39,000/year (about on the average)
Level 3(C3): You are offered €44,800/year (about 15% more than average)

*According to Berlin Brandenburg Statistic Offices announces Gross average wage in Berlin by Industry. This number is the rounded average of all industry in the office’s announcement. (Precise average is € 39,112 per year)


Attribute D (Values of Organizations)
This attribute is an indicator of values of organization. There are two types of organizations.

Level 1(D1): This organization aims to maximize its monetary profit at first.
Level 2(D2): This organization aims to give the impact on society as big as possible according to social values.
